I love this place, one of my favorite in London. Everything is super tasty You must try this little restaurant
Food was tasty with the fried chicken being the highlight, very tender and juicy. Starter salads were nice as was the Laksa, which maybe could have had a bit more meat & noodles in it.
It was pretty decent, especially the signature laksa. It was clear that the recipe had a personal twist too it but some things lacked authenticity e.g. the peanut sauce was underwhelming. Good to try but not sure we would be rushing back!
I have to say, this place is not very good value for money. The poached chicken in my chicken laksa seems a little uncooked so I was sick on the following day. After a long waiting, got a soup don’t have real depth and the flavours don’t get together with the noodle, only can taste the hot from the chilli flakes. Real disappointed.
Great experience with Sambal Shiok! Amazing flavours of the Laksa. The vegan choice was simply delicious. However, the fried chicken was super disappointing. Go there for their delicious and flavoursome laksa
