Receiver requires lengthy and flexible wires to screw and mount to the wall but has the advantage of having standard pitch screw holes to my old thermostat. Rt310 thermostat seems to indicate optimistic temperature and is sluggish. However smart set up and control is relatively easy providing you have a good Internet connection. Seems you can only have one smart phone controller which is quite limiting on its usefulness.

I have to disagree with the reviews here, just fitted a Salus to an old boiler in our new house, and it fine! Get an expert to wire it if you are not experienced. Great product, great price!

Absolutely rubbish a pathetic attempt to re-invent the wheel, maybe its ok for computer geeks but when yo want to get warm at an appropriate time you need a degree in computer science to make it work correctly. The wiring guidelines are pathetic and it's a total pain. What is wrong with having a clock and separate thermostat combination instead of an IBM to control the heating

Thermostat controls are overly complicated and frequently don't quite work the way you want them to. Customer support is virtually non-existent. Their phone line is only open 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday and they do not respond to online support requests, emails, or tweets.
