Great playing field i went for the legal spraypainting wall while the kids played at the park i painted. Theres plenty to keep the kids entertained it was clean and safe yes highly recomended
Visited with an adventurous two and a half year old. Large carpark opposite the park. Children's playground at the bottom of the playing field. Good to see attempts at a wildflower meadow. Young children's playground usual Wicksteed play equipment - well maintained and area fenced. More adventurous play equipment based on a mining theme - includes zip wire, slides, rope ladder. All areas enjoyed. Also has a skate park.
A lovely little park and nice there's a secure small child area. I do wish the play areas weren't quite so spaced out though especially as I have kids of different ages wanting to use different equipment. It makes it hard to keep an eye on them. We were sad to see the loss of one of the bigger swings and instead it had been converted to yet another baby swing. We do enjoy seeing the new artwork on the graffiti wall - excellent idea there. Pleased it's a no dog zone too. We love dogs but my eldest is very nervous around them after a bad experience. Plus Callington has its fair share of bad owners who don't bother to pick up poo so its nice to know we won't be standing in it.
Excellent stopped off and had a cuppa out of are flask, me and the wife, as we had just come from putting flowers on her family graves . Cheered her up a bit nice and tidy relaxed.
Lovely for kids of all ages. Would highly recommend it. Lots of variation for children of all ages and abilities. Nicely spread out too.
Nice but they close early
I don’t understand why dogs are not allowed . . . . .
