Used to use this chippy regularly but it has gone downhill. Chips over cooked the last few times I visited. Will give it a miss from now on
Slowest chippy in NI. From entering to leaving at busy times expect to wait 40 mins or more. Whats worse is people who come in after you and place a smaller order get theirs before you. And the icing on the cake is you get home to find items missing from your order. Happened every single time. Now go elsewhere.
Big portions, pasty and fish were good, chips tasted like they were reheated. Still worth a visit.
Visited: Tuesday 12th October 2021. Teatime. 6:15pm approx' £5.40 for my Sausage Supper i.e. £2.40 for two sausages + £3 for the chips ? They must have been having a giraffe ! The chips were reheated and the sausages were nothing to write home about either. There was a long teatime queue at The Frying Squad nearby, so I thought I'd try this place instead. It was literally 'empty' of customers. At a peak time too. Every Picture Tells A Story, I now realise.

Not bad - good chips - not the cheapest around but not the dearest either. Fish is usually a good size. Only complaint would be the batter can be a bit greasy.
Great tasting food but the slowest chippy I’ve ever been to. 20 minutes for a sausage supper with 2 people in a queue isn’t acceptable. Update 25 minutes and I’m still here...
A thoroughly amazing chip shop, best in the area. One thing niggles though, are you in the habit of 'pulling a kfc trick' ? I have been in and ordered a fish supper an hour before closing only to be told you have no fish !!!! I must admit, thats a new one !!! It was busy, but no fish in a chippy?
Been a chef for 37yrs and if i want a fish supper this is the only place i would go. Excellent food and spotless yea you can wait 15mins for youre food but thats the benefits of freshly cooked while you wait 5*****
Called 4 weeks ago for the first time they are the best fish n chips we have tasted since arriving in Norn Iron 3 years ago the chips are great the fish is lightly battered and and the fish is larger than any of the other fish shops we have tried I drive from Donaghadee every week to buy them being a Yorkshire man that is high praise
