Every time i have visited my experience has been nothing but brilliant. Loaders are spot on Gatehouse guys are brilliant and helpful. Today i was running out of time and had 30 min left in to my shift time and I requested the Loader if he can get me out before i run out of time, and he said No problem, tell you what they were brilliant and got me out in 15 min fully loaded. Never seen it hem open 24hrs
HGV ADVICE Enter site from the A533, ignore the 7.5T weight limit and the low bridge signs! Your sat nav will struggle with this! Park up on weigh bridge call into office to check in, curtain-sider’s need to be inspected for cleanliness so make sure your swept out 1st! Drive around to loading area and wait, wait a bit more and then wait again, two hours is a quick load! I think its just the system they have in place, coz all the guys who I dealt with were spot on and were clearly working their arses off! Back on weigh bridge and leave! Toilets available for drivers! Salt everywhere so if you have chrome bits on your truck be ready for a wipe down soon after a visit here!!!!
