Caught the train today from Salisbury Platform 3 to Andhover, unfortunately train was delayed.nnI've been super impressed at how clean the station is & how friendly the staff are.nnMy only compliant is the state of the ladies toilets. On platform 4 they were blocked, didn't flush and dirty. Then we went upto the ladies on platform 2 & 3 they were dirty, didn't smell great but did thankfully flush.... unfortunate let down, considering how clean the station is.
I have just had 2 super helpful chaps in the ticket office help me with my bike booking where the trainline reference didn't work. They couldn't have done more & I'm very impressed so thankyou as this level of care these days is rare !
I would like to thank all the staff involved for their wonderful help on Thursday 28th December. My daughter needed assistance and although not booked in advance they were quite remarkable. Thank you so much.
The train we were booked on from Southampton?? had no driver and so our only train home was cancelled. It seems it would have been the last train to take us back home to Bristol, so we were really stuck. The utterly wonderful chap behind the glass at Salisbury Station, contacted GWR control who authorised a taxi to take us to Westbury to take us back to Bristol. It all worked so well and with such kindness and humanity I simply had to write. Thank you all but especially the chap at Salisbury Station
The Staff were just so helpful yesterday on our return journey to brighton helping my partner as she is disabled and needed assistance with a ramp to board the train.
