Welcome return of Festival of Archaeology! Great museum with local history and a strong focus on the prehistory importance of the area. Resting place of the Amesbury Archer and other well presented archaeological finds. Also home to the Rex Whistler archive, with a few works on permanent display.

Not as big as we'd hoped but still well worth a visit. Staff are very friendly. We were able to just pop in with no pre booking needed. All very Covid safe plus little interactions for the children.

Had an amazing time their lots to do very nice and helpful people their. The cafe has amazing food and well priced. I can't wait to go again as there was alot there with the activities on and we didn't get to finish the museum. So much for young children to do there to.

Really enjoyed our time there. Staff friendly and very knowledgeable. Very rich in history and so much cool stuff. Worth a visit!

Lots to see, definitely worth a visit. Discount for English heritage members or Stonehenge ticket holders. The cafe is expensive and not a lot of variety.

Fantastic museum with helpful, knowledgeable staff. My daughter and I visited for the Archaeology Festival and we were very impressed with the whole set up. A fantastic weekend.

Went to eat there as it's always good. The menu was so varied and all the meals were outstanding. All home cooked.

Museum was good but the cafe was an expensive, disorganised shambles. Will eat elsewhere next time.
