Salford Quays is a must for all walkers, dinners and limited shopping experience. Then you have the fabulous Lowery center for your entertainment. Whilst we are in lockdown, the Quays is a great place to exercise as long as you practice distancing and wear masks
Lots of things to do, restaurants, theatre and shopping and, loads of places to wander. There are some incredible views to see if you look around! We love how one minute you're at the theatre and the next you're choosing a restaurant to eat dinner at or strolling to a bar. Lovely place to be.
We walked there on a Sunday rainy evening, really nice walk by the canal, at night media city lights up and the views are really nice! Modern buildings and architecture, The Lowry is there as well.

Great place to swim. Clean water, deep canal and plenty of space. Handy car park nearby and toilets open from 9am.
Easy parking and a nice shopping area. There was a small Xmas Market selling highly priced food, drinks and trinkets.
Really love the Quays, easy to get too and shops nearby. Love all the activities on the water too.
Visit the makers market which is held monthly, there are some great independent sellers. There's also a range of restaurants and eateries to try. A walk over the bridge gives great views of the ship canal and the option of visiting the war museum.
Beatifull spot, especially for evening walks
Nice walk around the Quays summer or winter. M&S and Next outlet stores very good. Easy parking. Bars good when open without civic rules.
