A beautifully kept building from the outside, the gardens were extraordinary, too. I was visiting Brian Boru's gravesite, and it didn't disappoint. The plaque is well maintained, and the information is on point. I gave it four stars because the cathedral was shut in the middle of the day. The organ was playing, but there was no explanation or note outside. I wanted to spend a little time in the cathedral. Pity. But it would have been five stars except for this. P.S. The Sheela-na-gig was a surprise and breathtaking.
Magnificent cathedral! I was pleasantly fascinated by my visit there. Amazing view of the city from above. The king is quiet and calm. I will definitely visit again.
Just seen the video footage online. Absolute disgrace letting people walk around with Palestinian flags, they would never tolerate anyone walking into a mosque showing people's faces and waving flags, and this church does nothing about it. Those people should have been kicked straight out, or are you planning to have a mosque and a Church in the same place? Should the people pray to Allah and then God? Absolute joke.
Incredible cathedral. We were amazed by the beauty and majesty of it. Great location with stunning views. I could not visit the inside because it was close and I could not find anywhere opening times.nWill come back for sure for a new visit.
