Proper Northern England. Beautiful! Worth a visit

Worth a visit if you're going to other attractions in the area but not worth it by itself. The building is beautiful. The heritage centre is very small but it is nice to see all the different wedding dresses from different decades.

The history and importance of St Mary's positioned in the historic Stockport market is obvious from its imposing structure to the interesting features within.  It's near other tourist attractions like the Staircase centre, there's a cafe, and the church is open most days.As well as church services, weddings and the usual meeting of the congregation, it's superior acoustic make it a great concert venue. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing church full of history. It's great to see it still being open and working but also having a community cafe and the Heritage Trust Centre. Plenty to do there!
