Lovely little church....lots to take in here so allow plenty of time. Quiet places for individual prayer and reflection. Leaflets available one foe each panel explaining the layout and history of the embroidered panels hanging to the left of the entrance door as you go in.
Beautiful, well-kept village church with Norman arches, timbered ceiling and some lovely stained glass. I was very impressed by the two exquisite embroideries depicting buildings, natural features and daily life over the centuries in Sedbergh and the surrounding area. Well worth a visit!
Lovely church in a small provincial village. The graveyard had some very old headstones. The grounds were immaculately kept up. Quiet and peaceful early morning visit.
This church goes back before the 1,200's, so plenty of history in it's story. A short history board gives you the barebones of it's life but more information would have made give this place another star. The modern two-panel embroidery work is wonderful, and the church has a lived-in and upto date vibrant feel. Will happily go back for another visit.
Beautiful old church. Went on summer fete day. Great couple of hours, not a great deal going on but a lovely atmosphere non the less. Well supported by the locals
Really enjoyed looking round the church. Good information and display of photos before 19th C refurbishment. Joined bellringers for practice and was made very welcome

Excellent Sunday service in a beautiful peaceful church.
