No checkouts open, so only self scan, available, Sainsburys you have taken away the shoppers choice!! When I asked one of the two staff wandering around the self scan area why there was no manned checkout she said in quite an unpleasant tone that there were not enough staff. Well there will not be enough customers soon so I guess they will be closing soon!!! Shocking customer service.
Reason for three stars is because of it's ideal location within the town centre. It's only competition there is Iceland and that really is aimed at a different target market compared to I. Removed their deli counter and pizzeria counter. Pretty much forcing their customers to use card only at self checkouts. Staff are hit and miss. Honestly do try and avoid going there. Big Tesco's is more welcoming, greater product range, more staff and so on.
Free parking, plenty of everything that you might need. Staff helpful. A good central shop for the people of Calne.
All the till staff have been replaced with self scan tills. With the fact the shelves are always empty due to lack of staff and deliveries mess ups. The staff look unhappy and Its gone downhill in the last couple of years. I'll be surprised if it was open still in a few more years.
Popped in to use the toilet and well I never sat down put it that way absolutely disgusting body grease all over the front and back of the seat with added hair for effect and the smell was awful and water all over the floor won't be coming back that's for sure
Very friendly staff. Clean and presented well. Appeared to be enough colleagues on the shop floor to assist customers.
Generally its fine, I'm afraid the fruit and veg they either have lots of nice or very sparse shelves with not a lot on them. The staff are all very friendly but sometimes there's a shortage. Xx
Always good fresh produce in this Sainsburys And toilets are usually clean

Recently added more self service tills…but taken away staffed check outs and each time I’ve been in, there’s a long queue! Even the staff seem fed up…as well as the customers…not a shopping happy experience…
