Thank you so much for looking after my car during a breakdown on your forecourt last Thursday and Friday.due to me putting in wrong fuel.
This has a large forecourt with long hoses can be used both sides. Larger than average shop selling essentials. Free Air and water for top ups and a very good car wash that has never caused damage to my cars when used.
Plenty of petrol pumps with extra long hoses so less time Hanging about . Small shop to buy a couple of essentials if you don't want to go in the store. They have free air for your tires and a car wash. Always reasonable price and you can collect your nectar points.
This is a really good supermarket. Clean and well stocked. The staff are friendly and really helpful and we found the products on sale well displayed and fresh. Great value and good parking make this our store of choice.
"SAINSBURYS TORQUAY"......In some respects this is a store that 'fails' to impress, looking like most other large 'SAINSBURYS' stores.......Constant price changes in a competitive market, with some 'very tasty' merchandise, which of course you pay a few pence or a few pounds more for, a few 'grumpy staff', free parking, a petrol station, even a "JESSOPS" photographic shop, with excellent advice from enthusiastic staff, a pharmacy, a fish monger, a butcher counter, will they serve you a full 'christmas crown roast'?................Everything you could want, supplied by power consuming manufacturers, delivered to a central depot by HGV Lorry and then delivered again to the store by another HGV Lorry, all supported by hundreds of busy office staff, support staff, drivers, shop floor staff, till staff, replenishment staff, security guards............Sit down, relax in the cafe/restaurant for a nice coffee, meal to work out how much stock is on the shelves, how many stores "SAINSBURYS" have and.........................
Good fuel station with plenty of pumps with long hoses, with a small store attached selling a limited range of essential needs to save going into the larger Sainsbury's supermarket if time is an issue. There is sometimes a bit of a queue to get served, plus there is also free air for your tyres & water to top up, plus a car wash.
One of my local stores it's in a great place where other shops are easy to get to. The car park is up to 4 hours though I would advise not to go on Saturdays as it's way too busy. There are plenty of disabled parking and mother and child parking near the front of the store. It has a clothes, electronic and homeware section. This sainsburys also has a pizza station to create your own, hot food station, meat and seafood station and also a large cheese cured meat and delicatessen station and not to mention the cake station too. It's a store for a big or little weekly shop.
Feels colder than other stores which sometimes puts me off staying for long. The shelves always look impeccable though, stocked nicely, however I think they sometimes forget to reorder?
