I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your Cleveleys store today at around 18:03, 13/10/2025.nnThere were only two checkouts open at the time. When the lady at one of the counters finished serving a customer, she looked at me and then walked away without saying anything. I only had four small items in my b@hand, which would have taken her less than a minute to scan. As a result, I had to continue waiting in the other queue, which was moving very slowly.nnI really do not understand why Sainsbury’s staff are not better trained to handle such situations. I always respect your staff’s time, and I hope the same respect can be shown to customers too. I am a regular shopper at Sainsbury’s and usually enjoy my visits, but this experience was very disappointing.nnI hope you will look into this matter and take steps to improve the service at this branch.nnKind regards,
I would give a zero star if available. Antagonistic & immature. On one occassion I have had the barcode scanner flashed in my eyes while being served; very uncomfortable. The assistant no longer worked there after I complained to a manager. Staff usually come outside the front of the little shop when I arrive and then look back and fourth between me after I've gone into the shop, and the outside of the the shop as though there will be some issue to see. On Monday 17th, after I PAYED for my goods as usual and was leaving the shop, the manager followed me to the exit in order to ponce around with his handheld device to make me feel checked up on by him. I questioned him but got an excuse as to what he was up to. I returned the goods. A woman who works at this shop was smirking while I got a refund. She has been antagonistic before now. Sainsbury's has lost a long term, weekly, online customer due to the antagonism at this shop and has also lost sales at this shop. I have had this attitude off staff at this little shop for 12 1/2 years. Too much antagonism and immaturity when visiting Sainsbury's in Cleveleys.
A quick grab and go, covers most of the basics including freshly baked goods. Prices are a little higher than the regular stores. Has a cash till outside and small car park.
Average local convenience store with a decent enough selection of day to day goods. Prices are relatively expensive compared to larger supermarkets so for larger shopping trips a trip to the Morrison’s further down Victoria Road maybe preferable to shopping here. It is a relatively small shop and normally staffed by two employees, who are on the whole quite nice. Overall, it is an ideal spot for a quick shop but nothing more.
I go in this shop most days in a morning and all the morning staff always say morning to me and my little boy thery are all so polite and always helpfull. I just want to say this morning my little boy was so happy he was running out of shop with a kinder egg in his hand all excited and fell and split his lip open and 2 member off there staff ran out side to check he was ok and offer tissue to help me clean him up and because he was so upset about smashing his egg they went bk in and got him another one now if that isnt custmer service i dont know wat is x x thank u sainsburys staff x x
