Very well stocked, groceries, clothing for everyone, children department, teens, adults. Good display, self checkout counters you do it yourself, pack your shopping, pay and go.nnFood department, drinks, milk and bread.nEasy to shop. Friendly staff, highly recommended.
This is the only station that I know that does not accept photos to add nectar points. More importantly cashier’s customer service attitude was appalling… tried escalating the matter rather than resolve… asked if I wanted to speak to a manager over nectar points. Very unprofessional stated she had worked at Sainsbury’s for 25 years… she must of been having a bad day as there was no need for the attitude.
Always have everything I need.nGreat prices and never wait long.nDebbie is fantastic and so friendly, she makes the check out so bright!
The SHOCKING true face of unacceptable capitalism revealed by Sainsbury’s Gloucester Quays Superstore. Despite being a loyal customer having spent many thousands of pounds here over the last two years just read what happened to me THIS MORNING.nPurchased meal deal, and, with my hot counter product I went to a pathway alongside the petrol station, where I sat down on the path to call my father on my mobile & eat my hot food before it went cold. No benches for over a mile in ANY direction.nThere are no obstructions nor ANY signs saying you cannot sit or stand there. It is not on the actual forecourt.nAfter finishing my food & polishing off my energy drink ALL OF A SUDDEN THE STORE MANAGER & OTHER MANAGER AMBUSHED ME IN THREATENING MANNER very threatening with body worn go pro cameras aimed at me. I am told abruptly “can you move from there please” like I am a piece of rubbish. Stunned, I replied “first of all why I am on a path not causing any issue & a duty manager previously told me there was no issue with me sitting there. Plus, I am actually a customer not some random person, I can show you these receipts.”nThen noticing that both of them were filming me with go pros I then said “actually before you reply let me also video this because this is totally ridiculous”. At which point they both run away from me. SUPER SUPER SUPER STRANGE!nOk to video & audio me but not vice versa!nNext thing I know when I finish up my drink I go into the petrol station shop to cash in my small win lottery ticket on my way home after sitting there for 40 minutes… I AM TOLD by sales assistant who I know well & is a friend “I’m so sorry I don’t know what’s going on but I was just told not to serve you.” Anyway he is a nice genuine guy so he processed my lottery ticket anyway regardless because he knows me.nSo kind of LOOKS LIKE I HAVE BEEN BANNED AS A CUSTOMER! Wow! From a shop! For nothing! No explanation!nThe real reason - given I know many staff & many are my friends outside of the store - is that they don’t like a deaf customer going to their store.nDon’t believe Sainsburys with their ethics washing diversity, rainbow flags, black history month etc, they are IN REALITY demonic, repugnant & discriminate against the disabled. IT’S ALL LIES! Leaving that aside they are rude, aggressive & disrespectful even if I were just an average customer with no disability.nI know because I know I know I have done absolutely nothing wrong in 2 years as a daily customer whatsoever but sit down to make a phonecall. What the hell?!?nLet me be clear Sainsbury Gloucester Quays discriminates against the disabled.nThis is a breach of the Equality Act 2010 so is this the sort of company you want to give your business to? Can’t even comply with laws on discrimination?nFYI… Gloucester is WELL served by alternatives; there is Tesco Extra in Brockworth INC Petrol, Morrisons Superstore Metz Way INC Petrol, Asda Superstore Town Centre INC Petrol, Aldi nxt Gloucester Quays & 2x Lidl's where I have been always dealt with courtesy… well, normally!!!nI will be pursuing legal action for discrimination the only reasonable thing to conclude so others don’t face this appalling sickening disgusting treatment but you know I’m so disappointed this is the state of a once great British retailer. Further all the diversity inclusion & ethics or are all just cynical lies/ ethics washing/ Huw Edwards level deception. This is not a good company to give your business to people, I’m so sorry to tell you. I myself couldn’t be more disappointed myself. What a shame!nWhat a disgrace to the memory of the founding Sainsbury family.nI’ve submitted a complaint to their head office TODAY, they have told me on the face of what I told them that as a company they apologise. They will review the whole issue & report back to me.nWell, let’s see what happens. I’ll update here if there is a resolution.nBut, in the absence of a resolution, to all decent ethically minded hard working people ….you might want to think twice who you would like to give your hard earned money to.
Fairly good on price . Good layout and handy having argos in store. Staff seem chatty and polite and willing to help if needed. Good place to shop.
