It is quite nice shopping centre, accessible by car,by walking and by public bus transport. It is also very well internally organised with good walking spaces between the shelves. It has loads of self service payments outlets.
This is what I found yesterday. I called over a member of staff who barely looked like he was out of nappies. He didn't know what to do. So he anxiously waved over his colleague. I handed his colleague the manky food and had to point out to to him he also barely looked 16 years old that he was letting it drip over totally different produce on a lower shelf as he stood there not knowing how to deal with a customer handing in rotten food. I was shocked.
Massive supermarket store with multiple choices, great experience of shopping here.
I’m incredibly disappointed with the quality of fresh meat at Sainsbury’s. I bought a pack of chicken drumsticks on 19/05 with an expiry date of 23/05. As always, I put them straight into the fridge when I got home.nnToday 21/05, I opened the pack to cook lunch for my son, only to be hit by a horrible smell — the chicken had clearly gone off well before the expiry date. I had to throw the entire pack straight in the bin.nnThis is not only frustrating but also concerning, especially when feeding children. I expect far better quality and food safety standards from a supermarket like Sainsbury’s.nnI wish I could give 0 stars. I won’t be buying fresh meat from here again.
I tried to buy a Vodafone top up voucher for an elderly neighbour, who is now unable to get to the store. The lady at the kiosk told me they didn't sell Vodafone vouchers, but they sell 3 network vouchers which may work on Vodafone. I bought a £30 voucher, which didn't work. I brought the voucher back the next day to get a refund or exchange, but they refused to do so, despite having a receipt. I then complained via the Sainsbury's website, but they refused, saying I need to bring it back within an hour. I bought this voucher on Sunday at 4:43pm, so by the time I knew it didn't work, the store was closed at 5pm. This meant I couldn't bring it back within the hour deadline. Overall, a very poor service from a supposedly reputable business. £30 out of pocket, with a bitter feeling for free! If anybody wants to buy a £30 3 network top up voucher, feel free to get in touch.
