One of the best shopping experiences in Rhyl - most (alas not all) of the staff are friendly and helpful, the store is a large one (admittedly a long walk from the town centre) and quite well laid out, prices are reasonable on most (alas not all) products, and there's a very good cafe. My only quibble is that sometimes the store falls down on tidiness and hygiene - e.g. badly damaged and clearly past their best items of fruit in the fruit aisles, milk containers literally covered with milk in the milk racks, items of clothing left strewn on the floor in the clothing aisle. I also very much resent staff pushing me aside without any sign of an apology when I am browsing shelves for a product - this had happened quite a lot recently. My impression of the store overall: was excellent up until about a year ago, but is gradually going down hill.

It is the largest Sainsbury's along the North Wales coast which was completely revamped a few years ago. A comprehensive range of goods which apart from food include clothing, household / kitchen items, televisions and electricals. The variety of food stocked is good and up to now hasn't been swamped by their own brand which is which is prevalent in many supermarkets. The quality of the fresh food is usually excellent. The much enlarged cafe offers good value and usually fast service. There is plenty of parking with bays wide enough to park in and a Sainsbury's petrol station just outside the exit.

I love Sainsbury the cafe do the best toasted T cakes ever unfortunately you can't buy them instore they get them from an outside supplier. I also love TU clothing.

Medium-sized Sainsbury's with an Argos inside. Great range of fresh fruit and veg plus all the other stuff you expect in a decent supermarket, including cash machines, clothes, electronics, stationary, homeware and fresh deli and fish counters. If you're doing a big shop, be prepared to queue up. The tills are always busy; self service is a lot quicker.

Quite expensive produce, but of great quality. Store feels a bit muddled to get around. Fantastic bakery and cake section.
