A very good supermarket with trusted food and excellent service. The location is very convenient, and the management and maintenance are kept to a very high standard. The staff provide good service, and shopping there is always a pleasant experience. At Sainsbury’s, “Taste the Difference” products are especially lovely and of very good quality.n.
Well stocked grocery store, staff is helpful, has smartshop and plenty of self checkouts so easy to get in and out quickly - which is important since the free parking is only for an hour. No option to pay to stay longer, and a penalty charge notice if you overstay. Try parking on top floor since the first floor is almost always flooded. And one lift or the other is often out of order too.
The shop is fine but the 1 hour parking is not acceptable and does not give enough time to do a sufficient shop. Waitrose and Aldi offer the same shopping experience if not better with a sufficient amount of time to park.
They had a refurb but the floor tiles are still cracked and old. Not really sure what the point of spending so much money on adding new cabinets was when the floor is such a mess
Disappointing store with limited selection despite its size. Store and parking lot are run down with leaking roof inside the store and often waterlogged and flooded parking with stairs that stink of urine. Free parking has disappointingly been reduced to 1 hour and was originally 3 hours, then reduced to 2 now only 1. I would recommend shopping anywhere else except here, even Waitrose offers 2 hours of free parking and is in a much better state of repair and offers a much better selection in store although at higher prices. ASDA and Lidl in Kingston offer longer parking free of charge and more affordable prices with an equal or greater selection of items. I genuinely no longer see any reason to shop here and will no longer be doing so even though this is geographically the closest supermarket to my home.
