The houseplants in the store aren't looked after. My sister bought me a white orchid, which she needed help to reach. The staff were very helpful. By the time she'd got it home, it looked really 'very poorly'! I knew it would recover given time, although might lose its current blossoms. However, I found it was very dry, and simply need a bit of TLC. It's now recovering very well. A few seconds with a watering can in the store would have been preferable.

I liked it here, but sainsburys have announced they are shutting the cafe, which is a big disappointment. It was a hub for a lot of people, used to stop for a drink, bite to eat all the time, friendly staff, then pop in for a shop. Won't be shopping here anymore, lost my custom for that reason. Also Tesco have taken a different approach and have just revamped their cafes, ill be going there from now on, very disappointed with the decision by Sainsbury's to do this....

About the only place worth visiting in Dewsbury. It once was a thriving market town, now it's an illegal immigrant haven. All shops, and pubs have been closed down... this town is coming like a ghost town..

I called this morning Friday 14th February, Valentine's day there was no checkout assistants to be seen, I tried putting my shopping through the automated checkout but had problems with the scanner, I left my shopping behind and did my shopping at Iceland.
