This store is in need of a serious update/revamp. It's cluttered and looks tired. Most of all the toilets Ladies are awful. 3 cubicles one has been out of order for months. Middle cubicle has no lock on and the door doesn't close at all. There's a gap which offers absolutely no privacy whatsoever. Sainsbury's you are letting your customers down. Do something about your store have some pride in your appearance!
Just looking SOOO tired. Fridges and freezers noisy/leaking. The car park trolley bays. Broken. The petrol station and car wash. Broken/dilapidated. No music/atmosphere. Everything else ok/serves its purpose. And the customers are nice. C’mon Sainsbury’s. Stop pleasing shareholders for just 1 year and invest something.
This was the first time I used Sainsbury's at Dewsbury.nAunty and I were informed by a staff member in store if we use the same nectar card, it would be ok and our shopping would remain separate, as we used the scan and go.nnWe had 2 separate scan and go handhelds.nnAunty left her other purse at home with her nectar card in.nnSo off we went to do our shopping.nnOnce we got to the checkout this wasn't the case.nnAunty and I had to go to a manned checkout and empty all our shopping and put all our shopping through again.nnWe where helped out by a very nice young man called Yusuf, Yousser.nnSorry If I have spelt your name wrong.nnHowever he was very helpful, kind, supportive, polite, I feel he went above and beyond his duties.nnDue to this error and NOT correct information given to us before our shopping trip.nnWe had to empty all our shopping 2 trolleys.nnWe began chatting to this young man who said he only works weekends as he is studying to be a pharmacist.nnBless him he was so so helpful I just want to wish him well for his future, all your customers will be lucky to have you, it is nice to know there are some very kind helpful youngsters out there.nnI/ we felt valued as a customer.nnA massive THANK YOU again.nnWhen we got to the end and paid for our shopping, Yusuf asked Aunty and I to follow him to the customers service desk.nnHe then handed us a £10.00 gift card, for all the inconvenience caused to us.nnI feel this young man should be acknowledged for his dedication he showed aunty and I.n thank you again good luck in your future.nnSainsbury's you should be proud to have this young man as an employee .
Good store with excellent facilities. Would be good if they could open a cafe, I think that’s all that’s missing in this Sainsbury’s and would be a great addition to the retail park as the closest cafe is in the town centre a 5-10 minute walk away
A really lovely atmosphere in this store and always supportive of those like myself with neurodivergence. The staff have always been very good if I have had a meltdown in store usually triggered by sensory overload they are calm and caring and humanistic. The store is a smaller version but it’s is always well stocked by staff that have an aptitude for customer service. Staff are approachable and communicate, the store is fairly busy most times I have been in, though this does tend to be after work or at the weekends, so can int comment about during a weekday. Busy isn’t a bad thing though as it keeps the store open. As mentioned the store is well stocked and although it doesn’t carry some of the ranges of the bigger stores it is perfectly adequate.
