Sainsbury's is hands down the best Supermarket in North East Lincolnshire - the trouble is of course, as of late 2025 due to the work being carried out on Corporation Bridge, it has become a distant place for many in Town.nnFirstly, the service here is fantastic and such a friendly and welcoming team of people. Just tonight a young lady called Lauren spotted we had a large trolley of things and was proactive and offered to open a checkout up for us. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to help.nnSecondly, the quality of the food. Sainsbury's own brand food is the absolute best by far of the big 4 supermarkets in my opinion. Often beating the branded for taste and quality. The following come highly recommended:n-Sainsbury's frozen onion ringsn-Sainsbury's fridge and frozen Pizzasn-Sainsbury's Ice Creamsn-Sainsbury's cat food just run the ingredients through AI - twice the quality of Whiskas or Felix for a third of the price!nTo name just a few... Sainsbury's really does set a high bar for quality and it is unmatched for the price.nnAnd thirdly - the Price! We filled our trolley this evening for Christmas and we're expecting a bill of around £200, and we're shocked to discover at Checkout it was only £110! I genuinely thought we had been under-charged. Then we get onto Nectar - this is currently the best loyalty Scheme by far. The Nectar app recognises what you buy regularly and gives you hundreds of points of you buy them again, definately worth checking the app before you shop to activate them - the points and cashback mount up quickly.nnHonestly, why pay more for worse quality? We always leave here delighted and shocked at how cheap the total was. Definately worth a visit if you haven't been for a while due to the Corporation Bridge closure!
I recently visited Sainsbury’s and had a really positive experience overall. The store is well-stocked with a good range of products, from fresh food to everyday essentials, and everything I needed was easy to find.nThe quality of the items was great, especially the fresh produce, which looked fresh and well-presented.nnThe staff were friendly and helpful, which made the visit even more pleasant. It’s a convenient place to shop, especially for quick trips or picking up last-minute items.nThe only downside is that the interior could do with a bit of modernisation. While everything is functional, the store feels slightly dated compared to some other supermarkets. A refresh would definitely improve the overall shopping experience.nThat said, it’s still a reliable and well-run shop, and I’d happily recommend it.
Easy access and parking, price's can be a bit higher than other stores. The food is always fresh and easy to find. We try to find a lightweight lady's jacket but they had no jackets at all.
I've never had any problems when visiting and do so on a daily basis. However I want to give public acknowledgement to one person and that is Peter. Anyone who works in the store or a customer will know who I'm talking about even if they don't by name will be his appearance as he's grey haired and works on security. He's very courteous and friendly to all when they enter and leave the store young and old. As I left earlier today he said hello to me as he was collecting a trolley outside. That's the kind of person he is willing to help out a colleague or a customer who needs help or assistance. He may not remember this but when he was stood with one of his colleagues I told him face to face what a great job he does about two years ago. People like Peter are invaluable as while I've not required his help he is an asset to not only this branch of Sainsbury's but the company as a whole.
The place seems to be extremely understaffed on every area. Anytime it’s somewhat busy staff seem to be extremely overworked with very little help
