The store was looking good for the Festive Season and as always the staff were pleasant. There's always a nice atmosphere in here and the food is top notch. Their handmade fresh pizzas are probably the best we have experienced from a supermarket and their hot food to go is always great. It's just a shame that this shop doesn't always have the range and stock levels of other bigger supermarkets, yet I suppose that I've answered my own gripe there by referring to this relatively small Sainsbury's.
Always good quality and well presented , staff are good especially checkouts and parking well spaced out. All in all a good store .well done.
Sainsbury's Northallerton. Use to be a nice place to shop. Gone downhill. Never any tills on until they see a queue of trollies coming. Got rid of most of the tills. Too many self checkout machines. Yet it seems to often take 2 employees to monitor self checkouts so put 2 tills on.nPoor management strategies resulting in poor customer service.
Reasonable sized supermarket, with all the usual Sainsbury's items. Car park has a number of slightly larger spaces to the right as you drive in. Can take a while to get out of the car park especially if you want to go right or trains are due to go through the nearby railway crossing.
Usually car park spaces, not usually that busy inside the shop, and smart shop app or scanners available to speed up shopping. Decent selection of products. Trolleys could be better protected, the child ones are outside so wet if it has rained, which is not what you want for a child.nVery annoying that random people with no children just park in the parent and child spaces though, lazy and ignorant people.
