Nice car park lots of spaces with extra wide spaces . Plenty of disabled and kids parking. Big supermarket with a built in Argos and clothing section. Till service , basket self service and trolley self service. Also nice pinboard by exit with local adverts.
My review is only related to my online food shopping. It is not in any way a reflection of the rest of SainsburysnAs an elderly and disabled person I rely on my food delivery to provide me with food I can eat for the week; I am unable to go shopping myself.nRepeatedly, I am provided with food that is out of date on the day of delivery or will be the next day. Very rarely do I receive food that has more than a couple of days shelf life.nThis means there is huge amount of wastage. I usually spend £120 to £130 a week on food I often have to throw away.nI would think it would be fairly obvious that a large proportion of online food shoppers are elderly people and that if you are choosing food items for them that you would be aware they would need to be able to eat for the whole week. Whilst selecting items that you would choose ones that would last as long as possible. I have also found little thought is given to the packing. When I order delicate items like deserts you would not expect heavy items to be piled on top. I had may family coming 2 days after my last order, the 2 lemon tarts I ordered for them were smashed to bits and not edible. This is a constant problem. I have also often received rotten fruit and vegetables.nIt is not possible for me to take them back so all I can do is throw them away.nI have to highly commend your drivers, they have all been so kind and helpful. All helping to bring in the food for me as I would not be able to carry it from the door. As everything has to be unpacked so quickly as I am taking the drivers time it doesn't leave me time to examine the state of the items delivered. Having said that I am truly graceful for the amount of help the drivers give me. I hope the general manager will read this review and provide additional training to the personal food shoppers + give a pat on the back to the drivers.
Good Isle space all round which is a major plus. Excellent selection of beers at very reasonable prices. Good all round shopping experience.
I used Sainsbury's to park whilst I was at work - I used Your Parking Space - be very wary of the parking companies. So disappointed paid for parking 8.06am to 18.36pm with Your Parking Space. Euro Car Parks issued a pcn at 18.06 as I was driving out of the parking car park. BEFORE my paid for parking had expired. I had the receipt so I appealed but Euro Car Parks upheld the pcn. Then charged me another fine of £20 for the administration of the appeal. On this letter they confirmed my parking finished after the time they had fined me for. Tried to get Your parking space to help, they were unable to as the pcn had been appealed. Disgusted at this service
