Easy to find.nAccess via 2 different directions to the car park.nDo note- TWO HOURS ONLY to park in the car park with anpr cameras. You will get a fine if you stay longer.nMedium sized store.nEasy to find goods..nWell stocked with some discounted products.nThe tills were a little bit chaotic with queues spilling into the Isles on a Saturday afternoon..nMaybe open 3 tills to begin with at peak times..
Nice medium sized sainsburys store. The staff are all super helpful and friendly. They stock all the usual items and run lots of discounts and offers. The free car park is very good and perfect when you need to shop in the supermarket and pop to another store in town. Also parked here in our campervan without any issues.
Not the biggest, but if you’re using Ashbourne as a start to head north on the Tissington trail and on to the Dales and River Dove etc, this will have everything you need to some extent. You won’t have a huge range of choice of products like larger stores, but you will be able to find something that gives you what you neednnIt does have toilets, and they are well maintained and cleannnThe store closes at 8pm if you’re getting back late, and the bus station is 90 seconds walk away
Useful supermarket with some reasonable offers and checkout operators willing and friendly. 2 hours free parking which seems to be the norm these days.
nWe popped into the Sainsbury’s in Ashbourne to grab some snacks and drinks for our stay in a cosy Airbnb. The store was clean, well laid out, and easy to get around. We spent about 20 minutes hunting for some chicken wine thought they’d sold out! but luckily found a few bottles tucked away on the shelf — so that was a win! Also picked up some delicious chocolate cornflake cake bites and a few cans of BrewDog for the evening. Staff were friendly and the whole experience was smooth. A great little stop for holiday supplies!
