Not my usual shop. I was coming back from an appointment, and popped in for some odds and ends. They had everything on my list. The aisles are well spaced, and clean. The shelves looked well stocked. Helpful staff. A very cheery gentleman on the checkout was the cherry on the cake.nVery impressed and highly recommended if you're a local.
I decided to use Sainsburys on line service as a 1st time customer. They say they price match Aldi, which yes they do but the produce does not represent Aldis ie the cabbage I received was the size of a large.apple! The peppers were all mouldy and the cottage cheese burst. Tryingbto get a refund was another joke. I entered my correct details 3 times but declined each time so I was locked out of getting a refund. I will not be using them again.
Gone down hill, one thing can be assured at this Sainsbury's is that there will be massive queues on self checkout and maybe one person on tills, there will also be red lights everywhere on self checkout with people needing help, and there will be staff gassing in the middle talking about everything, bar work.nnFurther to this the fruit and veg last days and is generally going mouldy before it's due date.nnSelection and choice have diminished, Sainsbury's has lost that community feel about, far better shopping experience at both Asda and Waitrose, granted Waitrose is a little more expensive but you do get the impression they care about their customers, which unfortunately can't be said about Sainsbury's anymore.

Nice store but needs a cafe! Argos is instore which is good. Nice range of greeting cards, needs more gift wrap....no rolls of wrapping paper?! Nice seasonal products.
