I am a frequent shopper at Sainsbury, online and offline but my recent experience has been the most awful. An entire day wasted after I had a paid delivery slot from 7:30am-08:30am. I got a call saying it would be after 10am. By midday I was yet to receive my delivery or an update regarding my items. By 12:30/1pm, I receive a delivery, and most of the items were missing including my baby milk, I was informed to expect the remaining items between 2-3pm. 4:30pm and I am yet to receive my items, it is difficult to navigate around with a little toddler and a newborn hence I cannot do a lot of in person shopping. I paid for this service and it has left a bitter taste. An entire day wasted, what a huge disappointment as I have to call before I am given an update about my delivery.nUpdate: 18:19pm, nil update on order. Entire day wasted waiting for a delivery.
Lovely store to shop in ,variety of choices to choose from ,lots of checkout, I prefer a man checkout, staff very friendly and helpful.
Medium size store , plenty of parking , they have parking on a upper level as well always check the lifts are working before you shop otherwise you will have to carry your shopping up two flights of stairs if you are on your own it is harder as you have to carry all your shopping as you cannot leave any behind, this has happened to me there time now. They gave an indoor Argos as-well. The main store has scan to shop so that is convenient.
Be careful of Karen’s leaving notes on cars if you park your car in a disabled bay with no badge. My wife was 7 months pregnant and couldn’t walk and the lady in a white Hyundai was parked out side waiting for us to go in and wrote a note saying she will report us to DVLA hahaha who do not monitor this nor should you be touching someone else’s property to leave your note.
