Nice style with friendly staff and great produce. Plenty of parking onsite too. The male W/C had 3 cubicles, two occupied and the third didn't have a lock fitted. Very disappointing from the maintenance department.
This store is so badly run and filthy! The down travelator has been out for more than 4 months and before that the one going up was broken for a few months. So the alternative is the lifts but only one of those work and now has a notice to get someone to let you use the goods lift instead because non of them work. They have a filthy doors covering the travelator and the working area is littered with drinks bottles and packets where the workers have been unsuccessfully trying to fix it. The shop floors are gross and not been cleaned in a long, the shelves are equally dirty and a lot of them empty on a regular basis. Even the self checkouts are dirty and you now have to scan your receipt to get out- utterly pointless! and using paper which no-one wants. Customers are using the ink recycling box to dump receipts on the way out. The staff look miserable and I can understand why. There’s not enough of them and you never see anyone from management out on the floor. This store is an utter disgrace.
visited store yesterday tried to explain to staff that the price is marked wrong on the self scan compared to shelf they told me I was fine it would come off at the end of my bill and never! my son picked up a car that the till wouldn't read they proceeded to tell him he couldn't have it because another member of staff made a mistake and left it on the shelf when I asked to speak to a manager she then got flustered and proceeded to tell me that the manager was busy and he wouldn't see me another member of staff come she then lied to her colleague saying I swore at her when I never! I will never again shop at this store ever!
Such a bad customer service. We popped in for a quick shopping on our way to Lego Land. Wanted to pick up a onesie for my son to prevent him from the awful weather today. I asked a lady if they had more sizes at the back for a particular one. She was confident they did not have a single one of the same in the stock room. So I asked if they had a different one but in the size I wanted, but before I could finish my sentence, she said we had nothing at the back.nSo I moved on to this another chap who was stocking up some gift bags and asked if he could check stock for me. He looked at me like I asked him for his kidney. He said a lady will be able to help u in that section. I explained him that she did not help, so if he could check the stock. He stopped moving and gave me a blank look like he had no clue where the stock room was. Absolutely no response from him.nStaff doesn't care at all!!
Good layout in the store plenty of parking but I feel the exit route onto the main road could be better. Seems the store only restock once a day as there is alot of empty shelves at times with items at the top of the shelves but nobody is around to get items. Not many checkouts like every other store at the moment but not many staff to manage the self checkouts which is a issue when the store is busy.
