Lovely store, nice size, always clean and tidy. Staff are super friendly, polite and helpful. Great range of products too.
Terrible experience, it was a busy Friday lunchtime, only one check out open with a massive queue. I used the self checkout but had a trolley full so had to put it through in three goes, each time I had a problem the staff member could not have been more unhelpful and clearly was inconvenienced by a customer needing assistance. When will big stores learn that self service is not the answer, good customer service is the answers and more manned check outs at busy times, I will not be using that store again.
Store is fine and staff are friendly and helpful but the range of products is really limited, with even the basics like tea and coffee only having half the options you would find in a bigger store. Coupled with the fact Sainsbury's don't have a stock checker as such or not a very effective one at least it can often mean a wasted journey if you are going for something specific.
Old store but has what you need, full offering supermarket but no hot counter or deli. Feels like its had work but its not finished and is in need of completion.
I ran into some problems with my trolley on smart scan. I got audited and the man accidentally scanned a prepaid argos item which triggered a 2nd security scan at a till and had to unpack my 60 items causing a queue. Very embarrassing like a peep walk. The teller gave me 5.oo off my shop as an apology so not all bad. I will not smart shop so much. Shame cause I bought a very pretty purple trolly. Not nice. .,
