Really tasty food. As a South East Asian, I can verify this is great genuine authentic Bangladeshi food. Curries were proper on point Staff were friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed ourselves, for a decent price too Highly recommend the King Prawn Vindaloo, but be prepared for the spiciness.
Very disappointed, ordered a take away & food arrived stone cold, we was too hungry to go down the road of ringing up and asking for another batch to be sent out so had to microwave it. My partners curry dish tasted nothing as it should, the rice was far to salty to the point where it was not edible. My curry must of had a quarter of a cup of oil in it, had to scoop most of it out. 1 item was wrong. Certainly won’t be ordering from here again!
I’ve ordered 3 times from here now. Here’s a review of all the items I’ve ordered: Tarka Daal: Very aromatic and just the perfect consistency Masala Daal: A thicker kind of daal, very rich, aromatic and tasty. This is a secret item that one wasn’t on the menu; I was asked if I wanted a thicker kind of daal. Be sure to ask for it! Saag Aloo: Perfect. Not oily like many other saag aloos. Chicken Phall: Perfect ultra-spicy chicken dish Lamb Phall: This was nowhere near as spicy as the chicken Phall. Did they give me a vindaloo or madras by mistake?! Lamb biryani: Very decent. Some might consider it a 5-star biryani, but I prefer it to be slightly spicier and slightly more aromatic. Chicken Tikka Biryani: Same as above, with chicken tikka. Plain rice: It’s well cooked basmati rice, goes along well with the other items we ordered. I had a pint of Cobra beer while waiting for my food, which took about as long as I expected. The manager is a nice guy and we had a nice chat on Sunday when it was less busy. Would definitely come again. I did not expect to find this calibre of Indian food in such a remote part of the country!

Lovely meal all cooked to perfection. Large portions with a varied menu. I regularly have home delivery and this is my 1st eat in experience and I have had an enjoyable birthday celebration thank you.
Walked down to collect our takeaway. Was initially confused as the sign read Masala. Really enjoyed the food and didn't think it was overly expensive for what we had ordered. The staff were friendly and welcoming. If we come to Leysdown again I think we'll be returning.
Love this place. The food is amazing and always has the flavour your craving. Portions are a good size and value for money. Lovely staff. The big boss, Raj, is very friendly and willing to go that extra mile for customers. The rest of the staff are just as nice. They are very welcoming of families with children and will do what they can to make your experience more enjoyable. The delivery lady, Mary, seems lovely and has a great attitude. She takes pride in her customers being happy with the service and will even drive to your caravan door! The decor looks much better after their revamp. Feels very cosy and modern. The glitter was the perfect touch! There is some parking available on the street outside which is handy but if you live in the area,your better off walking. Overall great food, great staff, great prices. My children and I will continue to use this restaurant.
Ordered the mixed tandoori grill Garlic King prawns Coconut rice And naan The food was fresh and delicious, the service was swift and friendly. We don't live locally but drive to enjoy the fab food.
Great Costomer service. This is first time I m in Leysdown and great halal restaurant I have found round the corner. Food was so good. And peoples are very nice in there.
Ordered food through just eat, waited for 2h and the food never arrived. Called twice and every time I have been told "it'll be delivered soon". Awful experience, I hope the food they make is good but I will never know.
