Thought I'd try it, We'd 14.8.24, as hadn't been there since moving to Eastleigh Dec.2023. Yeah I enjoyed it and booked for Saturday for my lady and myself. Onion Bhajis, Chicken Madras, plain Naan and a couple of Cobras. Wasn't too busy and I was well looked after particularly as I have mobility issues.
Good food, good surroundings. Service a little slow sometimes but not really an issue. One of the better Indian restaurants I have been too.Food: 4/5
We went to Saffron on a Friday night. We asked for some recommendations. I had a lamb gosht kallimirch and it was without doubt, the best curry I’ve ever tasted. The staff were lovely, the food sublime, and the restaurant was tasteful and clean. I would definitely recommend Saffron.Food: 5/5
Ordered via JustEat and had the driver turn up only to drop my order all over my doorstep. Due to poor packing food had leaked through the paper bag and split, ruined all of the food. I called the restaurant to complain and they were so unhelpful, literally said the words not our problem despite the curries being packed almost upside down? Will be going back to Sunrise in Chandlers Ford, much better service!
One of the best restaurant to eat in and take away and if I could give more then 5* I would. this was for the old saffron and the new one is so much better. Everything on point i would definitely recommend them for the space and quality food and services.
Highly recommend One of the best Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant in town I’m student and I was working here in my college time as parttimewaiter One of the best thing is a people who working in this restaurant,owner,waiter,kitchen staff Shamim bhai owneris the man behind this restaurant and success. He is very good as human beings as well as with the costumer’s,he has that skill to tackle the costumer with their needs. Each and every table he use to ask about quality of food if any problems you face he’ll make it as soon as possible Made a lot mistakes while working but he always pushed me for to learning,I learned a lot from him and I wish you to shamim bhai next time when I come to Uk I’ll see the other restaurant chains of saffron’s Food- 10 Hygiene- 10 Vibe-10 Quality and quantity- 10 over all 10/10 All the very best saffron team for future and healthy life cheers
Spent a fortune on an order. Never got my lamb vindaloo. I guess it was 21h44 and they wanted to close so didn't help me. Blamed Uber Eats instead. Slip clearly shows package check was not completed. They did add 4 free pompadoms. I guess because they only added 4 mains instead of 5.Service: 1/5
Bloody grand I can tell thee, Got myself a madras and made a reet good pong back at the travel lodge missed first half of Cast Away but well worth it Food: 5/5
Service is not good. I recommend trying some other Indian restaurants like Badi Mirchi in Eastleigh.Food: 2/5
The food was very good and there was a good menu to choose from. The service was slow. It took 1 hour 15 minutes for our main course to be served, although we did have popadoms and chutneys served shortly after arrival. The restaurant was very busy with some groups dining and I think they needed more waiters. It was nice and warm.Food: 5/5
