All the self storage businesses are pretty much the same. However, the fact that staff is friendly and nice makes a difference. 

They will best their competitor's prices by 10%, which they did for us

I cannot fault the team at Safestore Portsmouth. We used this same branch several years ago when we had a small business and they were great then, so we had no hesitation in using them again for personal storage needs. 
I booked online but was then contacted a couple of days later to discuss how much I would be storing and was advised a smaller unit which I was able to change if it turned out, upon viewing, that it wasn't suitable (it was). The guys re-quoted me over the telephone and a couple of days later I visited to set the account up with the very approachable, friendly and yet professional team (Tony & Brian) and more importantly, no hidden charges or extra costs that hadn't been mentioned. 
I think you already know the answer, but would I use again and also recommend? That's a resounding yes with absolutely no hesistation on either count.
