I bought a lovely 06 BMW 320d from SW Automotive last summer. I paid a fair price, and was given a decent trade in for my beloved, but knackered, Rover 75. Steve offered to respray the full bonnet, although it only had a few stone chips, and he had a few scratches polished out elsewhere. When I drove the car away it was valeted beautifully, and had a three month warranty. A warranty from Steve actually means something - you contact him personally with any problems, and he has them rectified. During my warranty period I needed a couple of small repairs brakes and rear wiper that Steve had fixed very quickly. After the warranty had expired, Steve still took responsibility for a problem brake wear sensor and covered the repair. Finally, Steve has told me to contact him first with any future repairs, in case he can use his contacts to get the work done cheaper. That is simply incredible customer care. Steve is a kind, generous, genuine person. He has looked after me and my car above and beyond what he had to, and as a result I will buy every car from SW Automotive from now on. FIVE STARS!
I would like to share an experience with Steve that made my life a lot more easier. I met Steve over the internet as part of a part exchange deal who approached me with professionalism, friendliness and most of all honesty for which I had been fobbed off multiple times by multiple dealers which made me less trustworthy of dealers and brokers all together. I had my new car in a week and the transition was so easy and so simple. I trust Steve and trusted he would meet me half way on my deal and he delivered, I am so happy with my new vehicle and a lot more stress free with my finances and outgoings with my vehicle. An all round thank you to Steve for helping me out in such a friendly and professional manner, it means a lot to me. God bless.
I recently bought a Golf Gti from SW Automotive. I never post reviews but I feel in this instance I really must. Steve from start to finish was brilliant. His website is first class and when I contacted him initially through email he responded very quickly and was very very helpful. Steve went the extra mile at every juncture of this sale, this is despite being a new father and only recently having had a Wee one. His customer service is second to none and despite living 80 miles away from his garage I would have absolutely no hesitations in doing business with him again. Worthy of note, the car has a very minor issue with the gearbox and when I contacted Steve about this again he couldn't be more helpful. The car is booked in for repair and Steve contacted me to say he would cover the vow of this repair. You really can't say fairer than that. If you are reading this considering doing business with SW Automotive and Steve, don't hesitate. In a word full of dodgy car sales persons trying to rip people off, Steve is the exception. Great service, great car, great experience. Five stars all day long.
Just bought a Car from Steve, a great experience. The vehicle I bought is as described and immaculate inside and out. No pressure Sales Tactics, just honesty and straight forward dealing. If you are looking for a decent car, combined with great Service, look no further. I would recommend them to anyone and already have Thanks to Steve and his Staff.
Recently bought a Kia from Steve and we couldn’t be happier. From start to finish dealing with Steve and George was a great experience. I sometimes felt nervous going to a main dealership and felt uncomfortable and frustrated with the salesmen where everything is about numbers instead of the customers – Steve put no pressure on us and really did make us feel at ease. He was friendly, knew everything about our car and accommodated all requests and questions that we had. We really did make a great choice to travel that extra distance to purchase our car from Steve and will definitely be in touch for our next car.
What a pleasure it was to deal with Steve, no pushy sales pitch just a genuine guy with a love for cars. Love the fact you get to see the car as he bought it before any work carried out. Mentioned to me when I picked up car there had been an issue. Issue returned and was fixed without any issues and at very expensive cost to Steve. Highly recommended buying a car from Steve.
