Bought a MK2 seat leon 2.0tdi reference model from SM motors in August last year, before i bought it, it required a new wheel bearing and a service. Few days later repairs were complete and i received the car. After that it's been nothing but problems. Tandem pump was leaking fuel, was taken back and repaired and everything went fine until a few months ago. I was told a new turbo had been fitted or at least i expected a "reconditioned" as most are before i received the car. In less than a year i have replaced standard wear and tear components such as breaks tyres and springs, droplinks etc nothing to really worry about but....  The internal fan has melted the fuse box and needs a new internal box replacement which is big money, not much use when i have a 7 month old in the car in hot weather with no fans or ac-  I had to replace the timing belt water pump and alternator belt within the first 7k miles of buying the car. The water pump was leaking, rusted and belt was ready to snap.  I also had to replace the "new" turbo this week which was never installed.  If you would like to rectify these issues don't hesitate to contact me as i'm still paying for a car with false repairs when purchased.  Pictures attached to prove the work done to timing belt and the "new" turbo that was fitted is no where near in condition for 7k miles. It's the factory turbo.

I bought a lovely white Q7 from SID in December my first interaction with SM motors and I couldn't be happier with the car or the service SM motors provided me with. Extremely helpful from start to finish and a great after sales service too.  Very polite genuine people who show customers they care even after the sale. The car is bullet proof touch wood six months down the line and is very reliable. Next time I'm buying a car SM motors will be my first go to as after sales service is very important to me and for the first time I've found a dealer who actually provides this and provides it well, without argument.

I have bought several cars from Sid over the last 8 years and can never fault his professionalism and attention to detail. He has gone over and above of what is expected from a car dealer. I currently have two cars both bought from SM Motors, both supplied to me serviced and spotless. I've bought cars from major franchise dealers in the past but I always keep going back to Sid for the best deals. Highly highly recommended.

I have recently bought a car from SM Motors in Ballymoney and I would highly recommend them. Its a family run business, they offered me a warm welcome and made me feel that nothing was too much trouble for them from collecting me from the airport to offering me a cuppa whilst I waited. The communication was great and their services faultless. The car was exactly as per the description on the advert. I have recently purchased an immaculate used car from sm motors. Being from Dublin I was dubious of travelling up north to purchase a car. However Sid and his garage made everything so smooth running and easy. Excellent value and great savings to be gotten and quality used cars. From start to finish including all paper work SM motors were amazing. I am so happy with my new car and I would recommend anyone who is thinking of making the move for a new car to check this garage out.

I purchased a Citroën Picasso from Jack McCaughern Car Sales - left the yard and found the car had 2 bald tyres, car wasn't cleaned and there were things broken inside I.e. arm rests etc. None of this was disclosed to me. Exactly 2 weeks later the car began chugging and the engine management light came on, was told by 3 mechanics the car was scrap because it was never serviced or checked over. After negotiation, we traded the car back to Jack for a similar value car. I have had the car 4 days and the engine management light is now on in this car and the boot doesn't open. Again not disclosed. Will not purchase a car through this dealer again. Cars are not cleaned/serviced or checked over before being sold. I was relying on buying from an honest dealer as I have no idea about cars.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE  FROM START TO FINISH HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. HIGHLY RATED. Remember that they only sell the car they don’t build it and for someone to leave a review like the car was scrap has to be nonsense.I do not believe that SM MOTORS would sell you a scrap car. We have bought many cars from them and the service has been second to none. Nothing was a problem . Ring them or visit them and find out for yourself they truly are brilliant. Always looked after us. If there was a 10 star rating then SM MOTORS would deserve it.
