Today has been a happy day because Liam called and did several small things, replaced my electric fire bar and tuned my tv successfully! He was so kind and I am so happy to find someone kind, very helpful and trustworthy! He left me as a very happy 83 yr old! I have confidence and now know where to go for any electrical problems! I work as a domicillary carer for a severely disabled gentleman.A colleague purchased a universal remote for his tv unfortunately neglecting to take a receipt. We have tried to get it to work with his tv over several hours , Newton’s were totally unhelpful , basically refusing to help us and suggesting we contact the tv manufacturer, also refusing to give refund which is within their rights but with such a smug , dismissive attitude and absolutely no help or suggestions . Clearly they only help big paying customers, and my colleague should have got a receipt. In a way I’m glad this happened as I was thinking of getting a large item off them for myself , after this no way would I go near them .

So Impressed with Newtons, we are new to the area and its always hard finding trades men who are reliable. Well we made the right choice, they came in over a 2 month period to our cafe in the town putting things right that had been done wrong in the past, it was all done with no fuss. In between times we had smaller electrical problems with plugs and sockets and they were there in about 15 mins to put it right and all at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a firm of hard working reliable electricians who know their stuff look no further.

Absolutely top quality work. They went the extra mile to be helpful, in addition to carrying out all the work very professionally and with very good humour. Highly recommended
