I had to write a review, after my fantastic experiences with S&J roofing. I have had two bad experiences with roofers in the last 10 years, and I have finally found one I can recommend to people, and whom I would willingly use again. 

Our property is grade two listed, and 200 years old, so the roofing work had to be done sympathetically to the property. Lee was excellent from start to finish, he was helpful and communicative, the work was carried out to an excellent standard that I am extremely happy with, he even painted a cracked window sill for me, up near the roof, that was nothing to do with the job. He was conscious of making a mess and cleared up every day, and took rubbish with him. On top of all this, he was competitive with his pricing, beating higher quotes from much less competent (seeming) roofers. Whereas one roofer in particular recommended new clay tiles, that would have looked completely out of character to the property, Lee went searching around Bristol to find matching tiles to replace broken ones, and keep everything looking in character with the surrounding properties.

Thanks Lee, for doing such an outstanding job with our roof! I doubt I will need to see you again now, but I will definitely recommend you to any friends that need roofing work carried on in the future. 

My advice to anyone reading this is to give Lee and his team a call.

Having had some really bad experiences with roofers in the past, we are so pleased to have found such a reliable and trustworthy firm as S&J. From the start Lee responded promptly with visits and quotes and kept us up to date throughout the process. Ricky, Chris and the team were a real pleasure to have around - always friendly, respectful, thoughtful and extremely hard-working. They replaced our entire roof, fascia and guttering and cleared, insulated and boarded our loft. We are delighted with the result, rather proud of our new roof and quite miss having them around! We would highly recommend S&J Building and Roofing.

We recently used S&J Roofing to replace the roof on our house. They were outstanding to work with, from the moment they arrived on site the guys were friendly, polite and unbelievably tidy. They completed the work in the timescales they said and delivered a first class service. I would highly recommend S&J to anyone looking for roofing or building work, as you won't be disappointed! Keep up the good work!!!

Absolutely fantastic job. Lee came out and quoted a great price to get new felt, batten, tiles, replace 2 flat roofs on dormers and one flat roof on a garage.They removed the dormer cheeks and replaced the front, insulated and did all the leadwork. I promised i'd leave a review because of the extra mile they all went, they also fixed leadwork left bad by another roofer on a rear roof and changed that completely. They used a single ply on the flat roofs which i'd really recommend it looks fab and seems really durable. They used all the best materials throughout. Kept informed at all times and left them with the keys to crack on whilst i was at work. Thanks guys.
