My Porsche Cayenne Turbo was nudged by a car and had superficial front bumper damage. The car was picked up from my house and driven approximately 16 miles to Rye Street Haverhill to be repaired. The car was returned early and on a truck rather than driven star given for that. The repair was excellent, I didn't know if it was the original bumper or a brand new one four stars given. However I found there was no fuel in the car, fuel range was zero is that why it wasn't driven back?. So I looked at the pics taken when the car was collected and it had 1/4 tank. So approximately 16 miles travelled and 1/4 tank of fuel. I know my car has been at the very least driven "enthusiastically". Yes it's a performance gas guzzler but that's 25 litres to drive 16 miles -1 star. Further to this there was already a visible chip to the driver's door however looking at the car yesterday it is now bigger and dented where it was flat before -1 star. Finally the car has been showing electrical issues since returning. EDIT: I had listed suspension errors which the car had upon its return. I have had Porsche diagnostic run on the car and it seems the chassis error was coincidental rather than consequence so the review is now reflective of this finding. The review is now 3 stars. However the quality of the repair itself was worthy of five stars.
We were provided with a courtesy car for the duration of our repairs and it was clean and of a similar size as our own. Repairs did take a couple of weeks but down to a part that was on back order. We were initially told that enterprise would provide the car and that we could pick it up there and drop off ours due to the garage not being open at weekends. This was cancelled without us knowing - I'm glad I checked before setting off to Bury else would have had an hour's round trip wasted journey.
I wouldn't trust this company to put the milk on my cereal in the morning I can't be bother to write a massive review but AVOID using this company ** Be aware of positive reviews. Yo get pay you £10 for a positive review ** -Sub standard work -NO communication at all mainly because they don't answer the phone See photos for the first attempt at repair the car was back 3 times and it's still not right
The staff were polite and friendly, and aside from the fact that I was very happy with the quaity of the repair, they also without mention, improved some unrelated damage to my passenger front door. I thought that was a really nice touch. A big thank you to those concerned. I would recommend.Service: Body & Trim
Still waiting for a job to be done as their prestige/standards. Claim with the insurance was done more then 1 mouth ago,received the car and see the pics.The pics say all about the job so far. 2 weeks already since last email I send and no response from team/manager.Repeat...I send,with no reply.Pictures attached so make conclusions...PS the original pain is the bonnet partwhich in time fades from UV and temperaturesbut now is "darker" then the "job".Spoiler missed some parts and "good"fading technique.Waiting for updates and answers after 2 weeks and still waiting
Really bad service overall. I had to used them as I was doing a claim though my insurance. I had to wait for 3 months for the appointment as they couldn't take my car earlier. They change the date several times, and then, they said they will pick up my car from my address to exchange it for a curtesy car but never came. At 3pm I had to dropped everything and take my car to the garage that is 1 HOUR away!! because they got the instruction misplace. After this, they repair was never done on the car, because they couldn't guarantee it ?. They call me on my way to work and wanted me again to drop everything and return the courtesy car immediately! Awful experience
Not sure where to start really took over a month o pick the car up for light front end damage . Park assist problems and parking aid issues all to do with bumper. Car was repaired and returned but headlights still malfunctioning . Garage picked it up and they said it was diagnosed and awaiting part. Got call to say part changed but still malfunction so said they diagnosed again and it was the Other headlight not sure why if they diagnosed it wouod it turn say dodged my from the first diagnostic check clearly they didn’t even diagnose the car . Instead they called Me to say it’s only a warning on the dash and that head lights working fine . I made a complaint to insurance company and was told to take car to main dealer. The issues where the headlight and was changed. There was issues with the battery and that was changed so after 4 months car is now back working properly after obtaining the engineers report from this garage they claimed to have done work that they haven’t insurance company aware and will be looking into it . My insurer advised me to use their approved repairer which was Rye Street Haverhill. They came and collected my car within a few days. Emily kept me informed all the way. However, I started getting really annoyed the days for the delivery of my car was never accurate. You would get a text message for Tuesday, then they would call back due to the bank holiday, could go for Wednesday or Friday and they would get in touch with me to let me know. I had to call them after work on Thursday as I did not hear from them I call to ask why I did not hear from them bear in mind that the main job been done super fast, just needed to be painted. Again they wanted to say that it might not be for the following day Friday. As you can expect, I got angry and frustrated with all that, it has been three weeks, I asked Emily how many days of the week they needed to paint my car. I told them that I would get in touch with my insurer regarding this matter. I end up receiving a call from Emily on Friday to let me know they have been working all they on my car and that would be delivered after 5 pm. Was very happy with all that and I apologise to Emily for my rudeness the day before, at the end of the day, it's not her fault. At the moment I do not see any faults and it seems the job was done properly. Just have to wait and see. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My car was involved on a hit and run, my insurer advised me to use their approved repairer which was Rye Street Haverhill. They came and collected my car within a few days however it went downhill from there. I was told the total time would be two weeks for the repair and they would let me know a completion date within a few days. They also said if it would go over this time that they would contact me to let me know how long it would take. Almost a month and a half later i received my car back to me. NOT ONCE did they contact me to tell me that it was going to take longer. I had to chase them every time i wanted to know anything! EVEN WORSE. the £5,000 repair that they did on my car has had to be completely redone by a different company as i have had orange peel all over every single panel that they worked on. My car also came back with other damages on the car which had occurred whilst in the possession of Rye Street. They then refused to correct the damage which had be left on the cars front bumper. The cover caps in the door which they forgot to put back on, i was promised that this would be sent out to me. however i am still waiting for the £3 part. The company then refused to talk to the insurer about the atrocious work that they had done on my car. Worst repair work and customer service/relations i have ever met. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
