Fantastic experience from start to finish. I called up to book in for an X-ray and the lady on the phone was lovely and helpful. She even took the time to give me directions to the hospital. I was booked in for the following week.nGot to RMH, they have free parking, I spoke to main reception whom directed me to the X-ray department and was very polite. Spoke to the X-ray reception, again a lovely lady took my details and had me take a seat. No more than a minute later I was welcomed in. The lady on duty to complete the X-ray was again really nice, efficient and I was in and out within 10 minutes all in!nnIt’s probably because it’s a smaller hospital but my experience today was better than some private hospitals I’ve visited. Ran very effectively and efficiently. The staff were kind and helpful. Best experience with NHS ever.
I attended the Oakham urgent care centre and received polite, professional, and such good care after a cycle accident. I just walked in and was seen relatively quickly. The receptionist was polite and kind, the Doctor was patient, professional, and spent time reassuring me. I would like to thank all involved. I attended on the 5 July 2023.

My son was given an out-of-hours appointment after suffering what turned out to be a partial dislocation of the shoulder. During the examination, the shoulder popped back in- saving us a trip to Leicester A and E on a Saturday night. He , and we, are very grateful! Thank you.
I attended the UCC this evening and was seen by a wonderful man from the north east. He listened, addressed my concerns and prescribed so efficiently. I cannot thank the team enough, what a fabulous service. I was in the waiting room for no longer than 10 minutes to be seen. It really is the people who make the NHS.
