I have been trying for over 3mths to get a replacement grey dustbin, the lid was gobbledup by the dust cart. After repeated phone calls all to no avail . No one responds , l can only conclude they don't enjoy their job, l would have been ashamed if it was me by their lack of commitment.nMy husband lost his sight 3 years ago and is able to maintain his independence putting out the rubbish when the dust bin is in the garden,but not when it's on a busy main road .nCome on Rutland county council do your job .
My black bin was emptied today and when it came back to my garden, the lid was hanging off. I called RCC and was informed it was necessary to leave the bin at the kerbside and a new one could take 10 days to arrive! What am I supposed to do with household waste in the meantime??
One word describes RCC, incompetence. I have never met an organisation as poor. How do this people get into office? Council tax rates keep going up and the services get worse. The sooner RCC is shut down the better.
Have been repeatedly ignored in pretty much any query I have tried to raise with the council regarding footpath maintenance over the yearswhich now no longer appears to be a concern for them. The poor level of service is made even more insulting when you consider the fact that we pay the highest council tax in the country.
Rutland council absolutely joke been waiting for replies to my email from the licensing team every time I call them they say they are busy leave a message they aim to reply within 5 working days it’s been 25 + working days no reply. Absolute appalling attitude and service from them. If possible completely avoid them not worth the headache and stress even. Good to take your money but rubbish to reply back.
