Excellent food and service would recommend to anyone
We had a really great experience recently ordering online, so easy. Food arrived on time and was of excellent quality. This is a relatively expensive takeaway but you receive a good service and absolutely delicious food
Had a take away tonight, ordered beef curry and rice aswell as other dishes. The curry was probably the worst curry I’ve ever had, even tho we got home within a few minutes of picking up it was barley warm and I’ve never seen so much grease on the top! What a disappointment and not one we will be re visiting. Poor service poor food and can’t be more upset about spending hard earned money on such slop! Only given one star because that was the least I could give!
We had very high hopes: the Decore is spot on. The food is generic hot Chinese slop. The same plastic looking sauce on everything. Presented nicely on little candle warmers: waitress was nice at first and then got very snippy and quick with us. What look like to be the owner at the front desk was very very nice. Unfortunately again I feel sick we both feel sick both of our throats hurt and we have the sweats. Not good Chinese food at all.
Not great and very expensive. We ate in so maybe the takeaway is better
To start.. the waitress's attitude was awful. Didn't know the menu. Long wait for food and when it arrived I managed to have 2 tablespoons of food! Our party of 5 could not believe how small the portions were. We are not overweight, non of us, but we left feeling hungry and badly served.
This is quite a lovely Chinese restaurant. Nice decor, with glass screens partitioning off booths, friendly staff. The food is classic fare all the expected dishes, but very freshly cooked, tender meat and not greasy. Probably use a fair bit of MSG tho, as I woke up feeling really thirsty during the night.
60%of the dishes were OK ... The quality of oil used for frying was so poor perhaps they don't change it often that we were left with a nasty taste on our palates following the meal. We were asked if our food was OK and complained that the squid was so chewy and elastic that you could ping it across the restaurant - we did not eat any part of that that dish ... completely inedible unless you had industrial power chewing gear! Of course they smiled after their enquiry and did nothing. The receipt temporarily appeared at the table and vanished as soon as I paid with my credit card. When I asked for a receipt that I always do so to try and ensure that tax is paid on my meals they said it is not possible to issue one as a customer had paid after me and therefore it would not be possible to issue one. Interesting?? - Do sort the reviews by "Lowest Rating" first to gain perspective
Lovely food. Always better when you sit in! Duck is really tasty! Lovely restaurant and we are regulars... Just slightly over priced!
Tried the set menu for 4 , when dishes came they didn't seem any larger than the standard portion. For the same price could have had 8 portions between us but no starter .
