If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday and was discharged today Saturday we were told that the parking fee wouldn't be an issue as he would get a pass from reception due to being an inpatient. Upon being discharged he has now been informed that he will have to pay for a whole day's parking. Had we been told this on Wednesday we could have arranged to pick up our car and avoided these overpriced parking fees. I can fully understand why people choose to park in nearby streets and walk into the hospital. Making people who are seriously unwell pay ridiculous prices to park their car is absolutely heartless.

I wish that when you visit this hospital you are not subjected to ‘trying’ to park the car. Not enough spaces!!!

On many occasions it’s taken over two hours, stuck in an endless queue of jammed vehicles, before finding a space and then the spaces are so narrow I’ve sometimes had to give up because I physically cannot get out of the car. Nowhere near enough spaces, nor enough disabled spaces, especially when regular spaces are so small they make it impossible for anyone with mobility issues to enter or exit their car. Even arriving an hour before an appointment, I’ve still got to the actual waiting room upto 90 minutes late. This car park is a waste of everyone’s time and resources, from doctors to patients. It got worse still after the newly-built unit took away some of the parking bays. It desperately needs upgrading and extending. Clearing the NHS backlog is compounding the issue, with more appointments, but many of these must end up being missed appointments purely through the parking debacle. Furthermore, the necessity to arrive so early only takes more spaces out of use, because people are parking for three hours, instead of three cars parking for one hour each.

Ridiculous prices for a hospital, forget about the first 15 mins being free, it'll take u 20mins just to queue to get out. £3 for 16 mins dropping off.nCan't pay at the barrier, you have to park your car, get out and walk all the way back to the main entrance to three little pay machines.nAvoid the car park at all costs.....​Scam scam scam
