Nice station. Slower and busier when your phone tourist high season - especially while they figure out how to use. Don't take the stairs. I did it once. It is a LOT of steps.

Neat little station with a convenient lift. The stairs felt narrow for a lot of foot traffic.

A Leslie Green Underground Station. Opened on 15 december 1906. A beauty forever. Go for the 171 steps spiral staircase once. After that effort, you can use one of the three lifts. Some nice eateries (with terraces) nearby.

NEVER TAKE THE STAIRS. The lift is faster anyway, even if there is a big line and only two working, trust me we experimented. Also, there is a mouse on one of the tracks that comes out to play in between trains. He's tiny and cute and I named him Russell. Say hi for me. I moved away and I miss him. He never gets up on the platform, so don't worry.

It's a small and tight station yet very busy but the three lifts does the job ver well, there's also the 150 spiral staircase for the fitness lover.
