Went in to buy some yam flour from Rusells supermarket today. The black womandont want to say lady, because she isn't no lady! on the counter was so rude and racist. I have never been so outraged in my life. As soon as we walked in she yelled at us and went on to tell us 'your kind don't come here to buy' YOUR KIND?????? WHAT THE HELL DOES SHE THINK SHE IS SAYING YOUR KIND IN LOZELLS??? She was very rude and didn't deny being racist when confronted. Shocking...and just nasty....I would not be surprised if they go bankrupt. I have many black friends and colleagues ..never have a met such a nasty woman in my life. She didn't even let us look around to buy anything....I am so furious...SHAME ON HER. May God guide and bless her with a heart. We are Muslims by the way.
Chicken Soup was quite tasty but could have done with a few more pieces of chicken in it as there was only 2 pieces and it's not the first time.
Great little place for Caribbean food. You know its good food when people who can cook the same food at home go to buy food from there.patties really tasty.recommended try them.You can pop next door to buy some for the freezer.actual building looks very outdated but don't let it put you off .Food: 5/5
Absolutely disgusting! DO NOT SHOP HERE Rude and rasticst women Stopped me right out the door and said your kind of people can't shop here! How disgraceful from a black women who should know first hand the effects of racism! I have no word to describe the disgusting behaviour and tone of this women.
Unbelievable racist! Black women thinks it is ok to call me out like "whats are you doing here, your kind of people dont come here"?! Not a single black person in the shop said anything like her behaviour is normal. What is my kind i wonder..., well I guess non-black, married, knowing my children, supporting my children, knowing both my mother and father, employed, contribute to society, don't need to cross the road when seeing me outside, not smelling of cocobutter, not blaming my short comings on slave trade. Pre cooked food had stew chicken I warmed it up at home the gravy was congealed either with cornflower or jelletin always using microwaves

I went to Russell's Restaurant and ordered 2 curry mutton, 1 oxtail, 1 rice and peas, 2 plain rice and a fish dinner. I asked for it not to be heated because it would be cold by the time I get home abd woukd need heating again. When I got home all the food was frozen. I ring the restaurant and informed them, the gentleman tried to tell me the food was cooked today. I told him everything came from a freezer and are frozen and I will be returning them for a refund also they have to pay my petrol.I told him where I'll be travelling from he responded that far man.I told him I did not order stale food and don't want it. I travelled 30 min to return the food only to find they closed for the day. At no point in the conversation was I told they are closing soon. Russell's please advise how will I get my money back.

Went there for breakfast place is cold no heating. Secondly food was average desserts weren't the best I wouldn't really take a trip down to visit again if I'm honest given its a food place come on guys up your heating for gods sake! It's freezing and by the time you start eating your food it's already cold.
