Meet once a month here .Clean rooms and kitchen toilets. Opened ip on time for us . Tickets not needed for my event as pay for room let .
2017 was the 50th anniversary of this firework display and it's never been cancelled despite some horrific weather. Very good display done to music. Burger van on site. Music before and after display. If you buy ticket in advance it saves the long queue to pay to get in. Plenty of free parking in town centre car parks.
Rushden Hall is a grade II listed historical building and is set within Hall Park, Rushden. It was completed back in the 14th century, and is constructed of limestone.nnRushden Hall was initially owned by the Pemberton Family. The last of the Pemberton family, Sir Lewis Pemberton, died in 1639. The Hall then became the residence of John Ekins. His grandson, also John, died in 1740.nnThe Hall then became the residence of the Fletcher family in 1755. John Fletcher sold the Hall in 1836.nnThe last family to occupy the Hall was in 1840, when the newly married Frederick Urban and Mary Ann Sartoris took up residence. Their grandson, Arthur Hugh Sartoris inherited the estate, and sold the property in 1929. Rushden Urban District Council purchased Rushden Hall in 1931.nnIt was opened to the public in 1930's. By the 1960's, parts of the building had fallen into disrepair, but it was restored, but only after consideration of demolition.nnToday, Rushden Hall is the headquarters of Rushden Town Council. The building also has office space for private businesses. Rooms are also available to hire for weddings, Civil Partnerships, exhibitions and social functions.
Beautiful historic building. An asset to Rushden and a lovely venue.
