I had the stylist Rachel from Ilford and she was by far the best hairdresser I hve come across. She was talkative and made me feel at ease. I trusted her 100% with my hair and she gave the exact look I was going for. She is very knowledge and has great skills. She is a credit to be working for Rush in Ilford. Even though, it was busy being good Friday she spent time with myself to ensure everything was completed to a high standard. I would definitely come back to Rush in Ilford because of the service of Rachel.

I booked online on saturday an appointment for wednesday, with a specialist, a senior director which is quite pricey, but i needed a reshape of my hair by a professional; i got there 10 min earlier and the receptionist said she cannot find my appointment in her system, i showed her the emails and text messages confirming my appointment and said that i have to wait for 30/45 min until someone becomes available, i told her i specially booked a senior director, as i needed professional service. I was attended by another lady but i was still optimisic, hoping that my hair will be cut and styled by an experienced stylist, as i originally booked online. She told me my hair needs a treatment that i had to pay extra, i accepted and while i was waiting for the treatment to soak in she started taking care of another customer, a friend of hers that came without appointment and was received immediatelly.. i had to wait a lot for her to start my haircut, and in the end she only cut the ends and that was the whole thing: no restyle, no fantastic reshape and then just a fast blowdry; she was in a hurry to start attending her friend again , i guess; the receptionist tried to make me pay full price £73,for this mock, plus the treatment even though i originally booked online with a discount code, managed in the end to pay less and got out of there really dissapointed , realising that there is no difference if you pay for a regular hairdresser or a proffessional senior director, this whole thing is a mock and if you are stupid enough you end up paying more than double for the same services, being fooled that you will be taken care of by someone with 8 years of experience.. that s how i paid over £50 for my ends to be cut of, when i was expecting a change, a professional style and a beautiful reshape of my hair; will never go there again, really, really dissapointed!!!

unprofessional, left my at the washing basin for 1hr 30mins when they told me it would take 15 mins. hairdresser left my hair half bleached to have a cigarette and didnt inform me about my hair and in turn did it wrong! lady at reception was cold and rude and just plain unprofessional. disgusting

DONT GO TO RUSH!

Upon arrival, the lady at front desk was very unapprochable, rude and unfriendly. I believe her name was Taj. I arrived for my appointment promptly and the shutters were just opening so there was absolutely no excuse for the attitude and screwed up face. She didnt even know how to smile.

Thankfully enough, the lady who did my hair provided excellent customer service and care which helped me get through the 3hours i was at the salon.

Towards the end of my appointment, my hair stylist was curling my hair and Taj came and reprimanded her infront of me saying "You shouldn't be doing that when customers are waiting". I felt so embarrassed! Firslty for myself and for the other member of staff. How unprofessional to reprimand your colleague in front of a customer.

Overall i was happy with my hair cut and treatment. Everyone who worked there was lovely other than TAJ. Appauled with the service provided by her and don't think she should be the face to greet people at the reception desk.
