Awful. We've had food here twice now and both times the chicken was tough, had a horrible aftertaste and the sauce flavourless. Both of our curries tasted the same despite being different.
Ordered here for the first time tonight which is a Saturday. I chose this Indian mainly because it had cheap Delivery rates on Uber eats and some good reviews. Delivery was very quick and the food was tasty, I received a free dip and DR Pepper. My new fave Indian in Stevenage.
Ordered 3 dishes, 2 being lamb, the meat in both lamb dishes were absolutely awful. Like a tough bit of leather, I tried calling but they didn't answer, I assume as this was near closing time they never answered. I boxed the food back up and sent them a message on social media to which they never replied to. I called the following day as they opened and explained I had try to call but no answer, I explained what the problem was and that I had the food still here. Bloke on the phone told me he would speak to the boss and get back to me. Half hour later recived a call, telling me there was nothing wrong with the lamb and it must just be me. I have used this Indian for over 17 years and always have the lamb, I don't see how it was just me as I have never had a problem with the lamb from there before. The bloke on the phone was so rude and made out I was a liar. They wasn't interested in seeing the food that we simply couldn't eat, he said it won't change anything. Safe to say I will not be returning. Disgusting attitude from them...

Our go to Indian in Stevenage. The meat is always well cooked. The sauces have lots of flavour. All really nice and not had a bad meal yet.
I started using this place again after being told things had improved. Unfortunately tonight my meal is not edible. The rice is so watery and mushy like it has been overcooked. The curry is tasteless and chicken well overcooked. I think I can say the worst curry I have ever tasted. Going straight in bin and won't be using them again.
Worst Chicken Tikka Masala Ive ever seen or eaten, the texture was like a slush puppy and you could taste the sugar in it. My naan was also colder than the weather outside. Rude customer service when I rang a few minutes after paying, they even offer to replace it if i drove it back to them. Don't bother with this curry house! I hope they get the chicken "karma" they deserve which will be cold like their food and customer service.
We've eaten at most of the Stevenage takeaways and restaurants serving Indian food but we're honestly thinking that Rupa Tandoori, is the best in the town. Won't go anywhere else now. Beautifully cooked food.
Awful! The worst Indian takeaway I've ever had. Can't believe people rate this place. Dried out chicken in a watery sauce that bore no resemblence to tikka masala and dried out sheesh kebabs that fell to bits.
