Free WiFi and very frequent trains to Liverpool, Birmingham and London. Great station with a café shop, waiting rooms and a first class lounge.

Really helpful staff. On two occasions I've been helped with changes to my tickets and the staff have spent time to find the lowest price change. Both times they took a real interest in finding the ticket I wanted and were able to advise on how to achieve best prices available. The station staff who are on the platform are often chatting to people. It's a well kempt station though it does close early and if you are returning to your car at night it can feel a bit creepy going to the pay machine in the multi storey. As such buy car park ticket before travelling and park where it will be light. Three car parks, same price. No short term parking. Taxis available Cars do wait near the front entrance. You can park further away but a lot of the streets are residential. Small shop inside.
