My wife and I ate there several days ago and was really impressed! Nice looking restaurant, friendly staff, good selection on the menu, and great tasting food. Had the Salt and Pepper Squid with Chips and an ice cream as well. Definitely give them a try if you are in the area!
Two separate areas set out very attractively. We had coffees but I noticed other tables were enjoying their meals. Will eat there next time. I have had good soup take out.
It's always a wonderfully friendly atmosphere at the Rumblin Tum. No matter what time of day, how busy it is you are always, ALWAYS, made to feel welcome and that nothing is too much trouble. Sylvi and Raul the owners are so good at what they do it's as if you've entered their home! The lunch menu is varied, they have cakes, scones and great coffee to boot. Also ice cream! A great place to visit and a real credit to Ardrishaig, it's clear they love doing what they do, and absolutely worth a visit!
Has to be the worst Argyll welcome on record. The young lad on the counter needs lessons in front of house. Apart from that and the driest empire biscuit ever it is best avoiding this place and driving on to Lochgilphead or Tarbert!
Fantastic service and lovely food. Generous portions, freshly made. Would eat there every day if I would!
Just had the Rumblin’ Tum breakfast and I’ve eaten breakfasts all over Britain. For quality and presentation - awesome. One of the best I’ve ever had. Can clear taste the high end quality of each item. Locally sourced and not just from the supermarket. Cute and cosy with take away as an option too
Got the chiken strips for lunch, chips were separate, sald tasted like soap and the chiken strips al be it were home made were utterly disappointing for the price. Will not be back.
Cute little place directly on the road to Kintyre and the Islay ferry. Excellent cake and tray bakes. Nice staff. A little loud. Closes early.
Excellent food, service and quality. With friendly staff. Easy access for all.Food: 5/5
We ate lunch here on Monday. The Homemade Carrot & Coriander Soup was delicious, the sandwiches were fresh and tasty. Huge Cups of Coffee and so many tray bakes to choose from. The ambience was warm and welcoming and the staff friendly and attentive. Plenty of choice on the Menu. The lovely photographic wallpaper of old Ardishaigh was worth the visit alone. This is a real gem of a Cafe highly recommend. It was busy but the staff were great at finding people tables. Open till late on Fri & Sat evenings.
