Situated near northeastern University and a few blocks away from the Boston police headquarters  this mbta bus station is another good example of great location.. great location.. clean bathrooms... access to the commuter rail... working escalators and elevators..

I love the artwork on the outside. The inside could use a little more work but at least it is spacious. The open-space nature of it is kind of a mixed blessing - so cold in the winter! Also, when one is using this station for the first time, it can be a little confusing to figure out exactly which track your train is going to come on, and the signs aren’t super clear.

You must go to Ruggles to see the beautiful design of Donald L. Stull. There arch over the Columbia Ave entrance flows through the whole building and across the street to the Northeastern University entrance. Check out Paul Goodnight's “Geometree” a Ceramic /polychrome wall muralinstalled above the Columbus Avenue entrance. The hallway from the Columbus Ave entrance is filled with historical photos about the area. This is a gorgeous station!

Great bus access as well as pretty wide open spaces. The look is getting dated and the place needs repairs on the cosmetic end of things. Very busy during morning and evening rush but then quiet before and between. D&D for coffee just be warned usually only one person working it. Still one of the better stations for all around access.

Great train station. It's not always the cleanest but the mbta staff are always helpful when asked about delayed buses or trains. The staff is also helpful with the fare machines. People from all walks of life frequent the station and is extremely diverse and very busy all the time.

I was on the orange line coming and going it wasn't busy at Ruggles at all didn't have to wait that long for my buses the #45 or the #15 but they had people there who supposed to assist u If u need any help PLS there on their cell phones they're not even doing what they're getting paid to do other than that it was no other issues

Ruggles is a nice MBTA station complete with Orange Line, Local Bus and Commuter Rail service. It's staffed most hours and has fare vending machines to purchase bus, subway and commuter rail tickets. It's well lit, open 24/7, and frequently policed by the Northeastern University Police Department, so it's pretty safe at all hours. Currently has some construction underway adding elevators and a new platform for the commuter rail which is relocating some of the buses but the disruption is minor.

A very reliable station. Connection to the Orange Line, Commuter Rail, and local buses.

Decently maintained outside for the Ride service transfer station. Clear signage=good compliance with Ride, MBTA & public drop-off drivers.. Only complaint is the significant pothole that wasn't repaired for a looong time at the exit for All the bus, Ride, and public drop off traffic. College & police station within spitting distance.

This station is good and 8/10 times the bus runs on time. The negative is during the winter time,  the buses run late on certain days and hours.  But overall I like ruggles and it is a well maintained station.
