Staff were so friendly and the food was just what we had hoped for! Very authentic and traditional Italian. The restaurant was bustling even for a Thursday evening so I would recommend reserving a table.
We had a lovely meal here. Great food, lovely environment and good service. Some tables look out onto the Cathedral Green which is beautiful.
Wow- What can I say from the time you walked in and walked out was utterly divine. Went New Years Eve and exceeded my expectations massively. I was seriously impressed with the dedication and care everyone took. I know being vegan is difficult to be catered for and I am extremely impressed. The chef did a fantastic job and the staff was brilliant. Georgina- Well done- You are very good at your job. Thank you to your team. A splendid visit. Really lovely Italian restaurant, would recommend to anyone to try the food and experience of the restaurant. we was staying at wookie hole so was not far. 1 min walk from the main town center. My family being Italian we are always looking for authentic Italian foods, such lovely flavors and good quality ingredients. i had the gnocchi it was like eating a fluffy cloud so soft and the mushroom sauce was amazing. I would say ask for a view by the window because you get a beautiful view of the cathedral and the green. The prices are good for the portion sizes you get and we would defiantly book again when we next come that way. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and attentive, and the kitchen staff for all the beautiful food produced.
Absolutely wonderful! I went with my friend for a lunchtime meal and everything was really good. The food was delicious the Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca was the best I have ever had. The 'ambience' is lovely, and the service was superb. I do recommend and I will be returning - lots of other dishes for me to try although I suspect I will getting the Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca again next time because it was so good!

Terrible place to dine at. Food was sub-par for the price. Had to flag down a waiter/waitress several times, and the toilet is in a cupboard. Went down hill since we last at there 2 years ago.
Super friendly and the food was great. Is a great location, you can have a lovely walk after dinner.Food: 5/5
Inattentive staff- so missed much of socialising trying to attract attention for drinks etc, whilst other tables seemed to be "favourites " with lots of TLC. No-one came to check food was ok, and paying the £300 bill was done whilst the guy chatted to his friends at the bar. Toilets are pathetic. One toilet wih a badly fitting door at top of uncarpeted stairs may look "authentic" but if the place was for sale you'd discount the price to pay for an upgrade/refurb. Food mediocre; next time...SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Had Spaghetti Bolognese and another dish both were very good. The spag bol they added extra garlic, chilli and basil to suit my partner's taste.
