Looked up this place as a last minute choice for my sister's birthday, as the place we booked turned out to be not great, so we left and called Rudy's to see if they could take us without booking. They were very busy but offered us a table on the terrace outside, the weather wasn't too bad so we decided to take the chance and were not disappointed. We were welcomed by friendly staff on arrival, provided with warm blankets and given menus straight away. The food came pretty quickly considering the restaurant was fully booked and the quality of food was second to none! Thank you guys for a lovely afternoon of beautiful food, friendly atmosphere and amazing staff, we will be back! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu had a good choice of options, my two ordered burgers and chips and said those were the best they ever had. The burgers were homemade and looked very tasty.
We called and booked a table for lunch menu at 1 PM on a Sunday. But when arrived only brunch menu available until 3PM. Lunch menu is after 4PM. Had difficulty deciding what to order as most places have similar brunch menus which is not I was looking for. We chose this place because on the website it says it has live music on Sundays which is on pause now due to COVID so it’s understandable. Overall the food was nice , staffs are all friendly, would come back again for lunch or dinner menu. It’s better to make a reservation as it was full when we arrived 1PM on Sunday. Outdoor seating available and on-street parking available around the area.
I’m really digging the atmosphere at Rudy’s which contributes to the fact that it’s a great spot for lunch and dinner. Service was great too though they seemed understaffed at the time, they managed to pull through. From the a la carte menu, we ordered the seared scallops, a medium-rare sirloin steak, cornfed chicken, hake fillet, red snappers fillet and the king prawns and mussels pasta. To finish off, some people got chocolate brownie including some that were free because two people were celebrating their birthday. Our group had zero complaints regarding the food. We thought that everything was cooked well and wonderfully presented. The scallops had a lovely sear and the slightly sweet and sour mango salsa went excellently with it. The steak was cooked to our liking medium-rare which remained moist and went down well. The chicken, king prawn & mussels pasta were seasoned perfectly and were a delight to eat. The hake fillet, with a wonderful sear whilst sitting on a bed of fluffy couscous, was succulent. The spicy red snapper was probably one of my favourites as the heat went really well with the fish and the rest of the dish. Finally, the brownie when coupled with ice cream and crushed nuts for contrast in terms of texture and temperature, was delectable. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable dining experience and we’ll definitely go back.
Before Christmas, I visited this location because of a lunch meeting for work. It is closed to my work place. You can reach to this restaurant by bus, it is near by the bus station or you can park to a SuperValu parking near by. I ordered mussels and sea bass. I was very happy with my food. It was very tasty and I enjoyed for the first time sea bass. The restaurant was crowded at the lunch time so I suggest you to book a table before coming here. It has a few nice tables outside, in front of the restaurant, where you can eat when is sunny. I wasn't lucky it was heavy rain, yet I was looking from the window and thinking of it. Next time I would love to eat there.
I ate here with my friends last week. I’ll have to start with the shocking fact that the staff were eating chips from customers food before it was sent out! Not only is this extremely off-putting, it’s super unhygienic and unprofessional. The woman with blonde hair who was dressed differently to the other waiters I.e., not in uniform was doing it too! Couldn’t believe it. In relation to the food, I asked for avocado on toast with poached eggs seeing as the menu does not cater well for a vegetarian diet. While it did taste good, the presentation was tedious as I had to basically make it myself. Staff were nice.
This place has surprised me big time ! You cannot guess what amazing place it is from outside ! The atmosphere inside the decor and service are stunning. The food is delicious and worth its price . And we didn’t book what usually is required and luckily they have managed to squeeze us in. Highly recommended and can’t wait to come back.
A little gem in blanch village. Had Sunday lunch here. They had some fella playing Spanish music on a guitar. I felt like I was back on holiday. Service was quick and food arrived out fast, all fresh made. We where very happy.
This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! The dinner was outstanding and selection of wine is fabulous, atmosphere is brilliant. Staff is very friendly and professional. The waiter named Tony served us and he had a great interpersonal skills, patient personality, attention to details and excellent communication skills. He is brilliant in what he do and real asset to restaurant. Generally I had absolutely amazing experience in this place. Recommendation to everyone...
Good food, with great quality products nicely cooked and presented. Good wine choice and advice. But very long time to get served. Impression that we will be served only when we will order an additional bottle of wine, half bottles of water only, this kind of pressure with intention to sell more stuff degrades customer experience.Food: 4/5
Went here for their brunch menu. The prices and potions were grand , but looking at their prices for dinner menu really puts me off this place. Seems very over priced, the place is very small too.Food: 4/5
