Spontaneously came here for breakfast and really enjoyed ourselves. We got the full Irish breakfast with pancakes and bacons.The Irish breakfast had tea/coffee included in the the price but I was able to sub it for a mocha instead for only about €1 extra! Would definitely recommend coming here, and I will be back soon :
To say I’m beyond disappointed is an understatement. The staff here never seem to be trained lately. Where is the floor supervisor or manager? Three times in the past few months myself and my friend have been here for food & each time something has made the experience unpleasant. What is going on that they never clear plates and offer dessert anymore either? We used to go years ago and it was much better. First time we waited a crazy amount of time for the waitress to clear our plates/check on our table. We wanted dessert but she kept walking passed and went back to polishing cutlery there was only 2 tables with customers including our table. Second time we went was a week ago & we got there around 5. We were seated and served food but noticed the waiter was refusing customers as closing was at 5:30. We felt very uncomfortable because we weren’t told and ended up being the only people where staff were looking at my friend eating waiting to leave & opening hours say open til 10pm online. Again our plates weren’t cleared & dessert was put away and no offers. Felt very awkward. Earlier today we went again & decided on more food so we got Starter, Main & planned on dessert. My friend was finished but I was still eating my starter when the waitress asked if we were ready for the main clearly not? but I hadn’t much left so we said sure. The plates weren’t cleared from the table… and the mains came and the waitress had no room to put plates down. Also started stacking used plates on our table. Food was lovely but again our plates weren’t cleared and it wasn’t busy. 30 mins go by and I have to ask a waitress to clear the table and for dessert. Then when it came to the bill she tried to charge me for a dip I never received also €2 for a dip is extortion when it should be complimentary with any meal including fries. Not to mention they got someone else’s bill wrong over a dip as well and the customer had to explain she shouldn’t have been charged… very poor service. And we always give multiple chances but staff need proper training. What is up with the doorbell every time the kitchen needs service also?! It’s an ear sore & more professional to have one staff member with a headpiece or a silent buzzer if it’s that difficult to check the kitchen regularly… It’s a shame because food is lovely & desserts are fab but missing out on sales not offering them.
After having our lunch we wanted to grab a coffee with a treat. The 4 waitresses that were on shift ignored our table completely. Didn’t take away dishes or even come to take our order. The restaurant wasn’t even busy yet we couldn’t even get our coffee order taken so we left.
This is only a few places that i will give 5 stars to because the staff and the food was just perfect.the place was spotless.toilets in top condition.well done to the staff.i most definitely be back.great to get top class food in a great restaurant.well done
Excellent experience here. Nat and I had the testing plate and sea food chowder. Twas gorgeous. The staff are excellent. Very energetic and smiling. The atmosphere was great after the lockdown. We totally enjoyed our time there. You must visit. Rob was looking after us.
Have been to this restaurant several times and always enjoyed the food Today though the service was atrocious, Took a long time just to get our order taken,we in the meantime got tea for4 Which only filled 3 cups Asked for another pot,seemed like they only put hot water in the pot, terrible. Eventually our order came out,2 orders where wrong and took 10 minutes before it was sorted meaning 2 of us ha finished before 2 where served Asked for more tea and was given tea for 1 Food in fairness was quite good When paying I complained about the service, and the manager dismissed me, I continued to make my point and she said she would speak to the workers, Lovely food but a very bad attitude towards customers

Very poor service, and the food was cold. The manager also has a massive chip on her shoulder and is condescending and dismissive. How this place is still open is beyond me.
